The calendar

Pick a time. That is the whole form.

This is our real calendar, not a request form. The times you can see are the times that are genuinely free, and the invitation is issued the moment you confirm.

The half hour

Thirty minutes, in four moves.

Drawn to scale. The middle twenty minutes are the call; the five at each end are for arriving and for being honest about fit.

A bar divided into four parts across thirty minutes: five minutes on where you are now, ten on what you are trying to change, ten on what we would do, and a closing five on whether we are the right team.

  1. 00–05 min

    Where you are now

What is already built, what is live, and who it is for. We have read the site; we have not read your roadmap.

  2. 05–15 min

What you are trying to change

The outcome you are measured on, the constraint you cannot move, and the date it starts to matter. This is the part worth the most minutes.

  3. 15–25 min

    What we would actually do

The shape of a sensible first piece of work, which discipline leads it, and what it would cost you in attention as well as budget.

  4. 25–30 min

Whether we are the right team

Said out loud, both ways. If we are not, we will say so and point you at who is better placed.

And what it is not

  • Not a credentials tour. The work is already on the site. We would rather spend the half hour on yours than on ours.
  • Not a pitch. There is nothing to buy at the end of a discovery call, and no follow-up sequence waiting for you.
  • Not a scoping workshop. Proper scoping is real work and it is paid. This call is how you decide whether it is worth booking.

A question that takes five minutes does not need a calendar. connect@xterraedze.com is faster.

In the room

Two people from our side. Both of them do the work.

No account team, no note-taker, and nobody who will hand you on afterwards. The two who join are the two who would run it.

From our side

The lead who would run it

A discipline lead rather than an account manager. If the work goes ahead, this is the person accountable for it, and they will be on the call that decides whether it should.

A practitioner from your discipline

An engineer, designer, strategist or marketer, depending on where the work sits. They are there to ask the awkward question early, while it is still cheap to answer.

From your side

  • The person who owns the outcome. Without them the call becomes a summary of a decision made elsewhere.
  • Whoever holds the real constraint — the date, the budget ceiling, the legal review, or the platform you cannot leave.
  • If the work is technical, one person who knows how the current setup actually behaves, not how it was documented.
Seen from above, a laptop keyboard beside an open lined notebook with a pen lying on it, a small green plant at the corner of a white desk.
The half hourA working session, not a pitch: one shared screen, and notes you keep afterwards.

Worth knowing

Two or three is ideal Past about five people it becomes a briefing, and a briefing is not a conversation. Anyone who could not make it gets the written summary afterwards.

Under NDA if you need it We will sign yours before the call so you can talk specifics. Ask in the booking notes, or send it to connect@xterraedze.com and we will return it before the invitation.

The practitioner comes from whichever of the six disciplines your work sits in. Say which one in the booking notes and we will bring the right person.

Before the call

Four things worth having ready. None of them is a deck.

Two of them change the quality of the half hour. The other two only make it faster. Nothing here is a condition of booking.

Prep sheet 4 items · 30 minutes
  1. One sentence on what you want to change

The change, not the project. “Renewals have gone flat” is a far more useful opening than “we need a new website”.

    Needed
  2. The constraint that actually binds

A launch date, a budget ceiling, a platform you cannot leave, a compliance review you have to pass. One real constraint shapes the answer more than a full requirements list.

    Needed
  3. Who decides, and when they next meet

It sets whether the answer we give you is useful this quarter or next, and whether the first step should be a pilot or a paper.

    Helps
  4. Anything already written

A brief, a deck, a backlog, a URL, a dashboard that is telling you something bad. Attach it to the booking or bring it up on the call.

    Optional

After you confirm

The booking is the email. Not the button.

Four things happen, in this order. The timings below are typical rather than guaranteed, and the first one is the one that matters.

  1. Within a minute

    The confirmation arrives

Cal.com sends the confirmation and the calendar invitation, with the joining link and the reschedule and cancel links inside it. That email is the booking.

  2. Before the call

We ask for anything we need

By email, and only if it changes the half hour. If you have asked for an NDA, it is signed and returned before the call rather than at the start of it.

  3. On the day

    Thirty minutes, on time

Notes are taken on our side, so nobody on yours has to write while listening. If we are going to run over, we ask rather than assume.

  4. Typically two working days

    A written read on fit

What we heard, an honest answer on whether we are the right team, and either the shape of a first piece of work with a range, or the name of someone better placed.

Moving it is normal Use the reschedule link in your confirmation rather than emailing. It puts the slot back for someone else the moment you change it, which is the polite version of a cancellation.

No confirmation, no booking If nothing arrives within a few minutes, the booking did not complete. Check the spam folder, then try again, then email connect@xterraedze.com and we will put a time in by hand.

What we do with the notes They are used to write your follow-up and nothing else. There is no marketing sequence behind this page, and no analytics on it.

Time zones

We keep Indian hours. The calendar does the arithmetic.

The scheduler shows every slot in your own time zone, so there is nothing to convert. This is the window those slots come out of, for anyone who wants to check the overlap before they book.

Booking window 09:30–18:30 IST · Monday to Friday

Video by default A discovery call is a video call, wherever you are. In person at either studio is possible by arrangement — say so in the booking notes and we will confirm it by email.

Outside the window If none of the overlap works — and for most of the Americas very little of it will — say so when you book or email us, and we will look at a time outside it.

Other ways in

If a call is not the first step, there are three others.

Email us

Best for a short question, a document, or an NDA you want signed before anything else happens. A person reads it; nothing is auto-replied.

connect@xterraedze.com

Typically answered within one working day.

Send a written brief

The brief form asks for the shape of the work — which disciplines, which services, what is already in place — and reaches the same lead as a call.

Open the brief form

Better than a call if you already know what you want built.

Still the fastest route

All three land with the same people, so nothing above means starting again. A time on the calendar is simply the shortest path to an answer.

Let’s build what happens next.

Tell us what you’re building. We’ll answer straight.
